Left liberals of India are one of the key impediments to “indigeneous Defence R&D”-S.K. Singh (ex-Scientist of DRDO and Social Entreprenuer)

Why is left-wing politics losing in India despite their intellectual, liberal, and progressive leanings? – Because of fake liberalism they try show themselves liberal and deep down they have their own agenda to destroy the value of country.

So called Left liberals are also losing in political and media warfare. There are too many on the media who are left leaning, with all their propaganda… . But they are losing the respect of ordinary people. Opposing anything and everything is not progressiveness. The thumb rule is that if Indian leftists are opposing anything then it would be good for India. Probably left oriented intellectuals need to understand the concept of Machine Learning. Machine learns on the successive pattern of data, and it considers the change in pattern and cognitively predict the probable outcome. Left oriented intellectuals in India are simply working on the old typecast data and they are becoming irrelevant in the contemporary changing world due to their fixed orientation and mindset.

The problem with the Indian left is that this is the greatest ally of the right-wing. Indian Leftists claim that they are fighting against right wing but in reality, they always help right wing to win elections, and they will continue to do so in near future. The issue is that they hate right wing so much that they are willing to propagate any narrative and do anything to oppose the mainstream politics. This may be good for their inner circle, but this has exposed them. India needs political diversity, and India needs a strong left, but Leftists have gone so left that most centrist Indians found them on the right side of the political spectrum. Indian Left is at its weakest and its future is not very bright in India at this moment.

Often the development of the Kaveri engine has been criticized by the people for not meeting the specifications for the requisite thrust needed for LCA and taking long time in development. What the critics forget the development and maturity time of its comparison engine with counterpart GE404 engine… . The F404 launch came at a critical juncture for GE Aviation’s fighter engine enterprise, which struggled in the mid-1970s. Between 1970 and 1975, the U.S. government selected rival Pratt & Whitney to provide the exclusive jet power for the new USAF twin-engine F-15 and single-engine F-16 fighters, as well as the Navy twin-engine F-14.

Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) programme was conceived in the year 1986 and thanks to DRDO for successfully designing the Aerodynamics and Avionics of LCA which has been successfully flight tested with GE 404 engine for interoperability to the satisfaction of Indian Air Force (IAF). IAF has already ordered 83 LCA jets to HAL and a few of them are in service. Nonetheless, the Kaveri engine Thrust is matching and exceeding the needs of “Ghatak”, a unmanned vehicle huge is size and potential for the modern warfare.

Ghatak , initially designated as Indian Unmanned Strike Air Vehicle (IUSAV), is an autonomous jet powered stealthy unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), being developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the Indian Air Force.

The successful flying demonstration of this autonomous stealth UAV is a testimony to maturity in the technology readiness levels in the country. With this flight in the tailless configuration, India has joined the elite club of countries to have mastered the controls for the flying wing technology. Kaveri is reported to have enhanced its Thrust and going through tests and it is expected it will meet and exceed the Thrust of GE404 engine. DRDO is working to make Kaveri engine powerful enough to meet and exceed the requirements of its indigenous 5th generation AMCA programme.

The left liberal critics knowingly and unknowingly discount dozens of proven and tested products from DRDO which has gone to services in the last 4-6 decades. This includes Radars, Electronic warfare equipment, Software Defined Radio, Missiles, Tanks and many more. DRDO is thin spread and it is pursuing R&D on products right from Food to Electronics and one has to be sensitive criticizing the efficacy of Defence R&D products.

DRDO’s pursuit of self-reliance and successful indigenous development and production of strategic systems and platforms such as Agni and Prithvi series of missiles; light combat aircraft, Tejas; multi-barrel rocket launcher, Pinaka; air defence system, Akash; a wide range of radars and electronic warfare systems; etc. need to be seen in the right perspective of limitations and sanctions it faced over a period. In summary, it can be said that Left-liberals don’t really understand right-wing populism of doing things in the larger perspective – and have no effective way to counter it! – SK Singh (with gratitude photos from Google)
